Casting on tattoos

Does anyone have experience, in casting on tattoos?

Beneficial ones such as protection, wards, etc.

If you are speaking of putting a tattoo on your self that represents a desire, it will work. I suppose it can also work if you use the tattoo on another to help direct your thoughts to it and focus.
