I am very new to all of this and have little knowledge of the subject, but have been interested in magic and the occult for many years. My life has been had its share of ups and downs (mostly downs) and want to find a different solution to the perils of this life. I am extremely interested in the dark arts and want to learn with an open mind. I someone can take me under their wing I would be eternally grateful. Thank you.
I guess my introduction sounded kind of odd. I am not one of those silly people who are wanting magic to solve their problems. I'm looking to discover different ways to see the world in which I live. I want to understand how the universe works and how magic is woven into it. Yes, I am interested in the dark side of things, but all forms of magic and the occult interest me. I'm just trying to find my place in this world before I travel on to the next. Thank you.

After many hours of research, I believe I have found what I have been searching for; although I have much more to learn. Ive started with the basics and its getting on well. It is amazing how it all works and it does. Apparently I have some natural ability as everything I've done works. Haven't attempted spells, but all the preparation, ie. meditation, centering, etc. have all helped with my daily life. Right now, I'm still doing a lot of studying especially the phases of the moon and and proper spell casting times. It's still a bit confusing, but I believe I will get it soon. This site is excellent !
