Seeing my spirit animal

there are spells and incantations but they are a little hit and miss. honestly the best way is to meditate

Meditation is the best [and safest] way to go about that I know of. Other ways are sweat lodges, sundancing, spirit quests and various other ways in which people would push thirty body to the limit in the hopes to see visions, and/or find their spirit guide.

I've tried using dream spells, to try and let them know your looking? But I'm not sure either. LoL :)

Are the spirit animals the same as spirit guides?

No… I believe that spirit guides are always with you but spirit animals only come near you when you need help… and yes, they know when you need help
