Glue

I am new here but I've been lurking for awhile. I am currently in the process of making a wand from an iron nail (A railroad spike actualy. I am also a blacksmith) and wanted to affix a crystal at the end. What sort of glue would you recommend? Also I understand that an iron wand is good for protection. Are there any other properties it might have that I am unaware of?

well an epoxy glue would more then likely do the job, could you create and area for the crystal and set it in?

Iron can be used for protection and for healing. Inscribing the symbol of mars upon the wand will also increase its defensive and protective properties.

hope that helps

Yes, I was going to make a small cup in the end in which to set the crystal.

Ahh excellent, well either go with the epoxy or if you can, where the crystal setting is going to be create hooks which you can bend over the crystal to set it in place. Best of luck with your endeavor
