This is an excellent video on the history of the Wiccan religion. It is rather long, but well worth the watching:

finally got to sit down and watch this, love it, it was informative, but the host was amazingly british, a lot of what he said made me laugh [like he talked about Wiccans in the beginning as if we were a rare animal 'in search of Wiccans' lol] thanks for posting, really enjoyed watching it.

Ahh, the host was Professor Ronald Hutton from the University of Bristol. He is the author of such academic books on modern Paganism and its history such as "Triumph of the Moon", "Blood and Mistletoe", "Pagan Religions of the Modern British Isles", "Stations of the Sun", etc. He's a lovely gentleman to speak to in person. He is also a Wiccan initiate and a member of one of the Druid Traditions.
