How do you use stones in natural magick? do you just hold them or have them on an alter when you do a spell or ritual?

It depends on what kind of spell I'm doing. That being said, I typically hold them-first in my right hand and then in my left.

I don't perform Natural Magick, but I feel this can relate to any witch. It depends on your beliefs and your casting methods of the Mana (energy) you're trying to spread to bring about change. I'd say go for the altar, but again it all depends on your heart's method of magickal ways. =)

Feel free to message me. I once questioned the same thing with stones and candles.

There are lots of ways to use stones and crystals in magic -- you can bury them, charge them with power, throw them, use them to represent things, mark out circles with them, meditate with them, etc. It all depends on how you want to use them, and the amount of creativity involved :)

The energy of stones and crystals, like any energy, must be told/asked/programmed what to do, otherwise they are just a stone/crystal. Different shapes conduct their energy in special ways. Every stone/crystal has its own individual personality, just as every person is unique, so its best to get to know them by meditating with them in order to discover their strengths and weaknesses. Books and gemstone dictionaries with magickal properties are good for reference, but not ever stone/crystal fits these profiles exactly.

I'm a big noob in all forms of magic, I just wanted to find some way to be able to connect deeper with nature, and found this website. If anybody is willing to mentor me in the ways of the Druid, that would be great! Thanks!
