Dont forget that you can have more than one mentor, which I honestly believe to be a good idea. You will find someone you connect with and you will know when its right. Dont forget as well, even with a mentor its good to think and study yourself.

I would start by reading the forums. Theres some good starting out info in there.. then join one of the covens. They are there to help people out.
The chat room is also a good place to see what people know and see if they would make a good mentor. then ask. Whats the worst they can do... say no?
