Wake Forest university medical school found that meditation is a natural pain killer.

A university in Kentucky did a study that showed that meditation lowers blood pressure.

More fun facts! Meditation helps to sharpen your mind, helps you sleep better at night, relieves stress and depression! Look it up!

there have also been studies with monks and nuns who meditate about two hours a day and because of this they use about 90% of their brains as opposed to the 10% the average person uses.

I won't to know when is the best time to meditate.I live by myself.so its fairly quiet.

Early morning and late evening are both good. Meditation has been going a long time! Ancient philosophy, Buddism, Hindu; in fact most religions of the world use meditation. It is the most important, in fact the very essence, of witchcraft. It has enormous benefits to the general and mental health.

I know that since I started meditating alot that I can concentrate directly on what I'm doing. That it's easier to see, hear, feel, smell and taste things. It also helps me to sleep at night as you said above.

Meditation also helps you recover from colds and illnesses faster and that's a fact to :)
