As far as i am acknowledged on this field. Fairies are showing themselves only to those that THEY are willing to see them. Therefore it may took ages before they show themselves. Even if they dont show they will know your welcoming them and mean no harm (i think you dont have bad intentions) to them and will treat you with some of their gifts (not much powerful ones). Anyway first you have to find a place that appears to be a layer of faeries such waterfall, spring, interesting looking tree etc... Than make various rituals...

I truly do not believe in them but here is still possibility there are some...Hope never dies. ;)

Be careful what you are wishing for and what you are summoning for...For it might come true or appear...

You can't "summon" a fairy. You can attract one but you cannot summon one. They have free will just like us.

@MaraXXX I totally didn't believe in fairies either, on my first outdoor supply gathering trip I researched the most respectable way (ask permission, etc). It also said to thank the Faye with an offering of some cream or something shiny; to cover my bases I brought some glitter, gave it with sincerity...even though I thought it was silly.
I found snake skin and some awesome wild herbs, for 3 days after i randomly herd bells tingling noone else did, not the kind when you hear after listening to music too loud. Which is suppose to be a sign, according to the Google (lol) its b/c I'm a bit intuitive. Didn't see any, but a month later i made another offering, just as an experiment, and it happened again.
Anyhow, so apparently they WILL respond to offerings of cream, glitter, or sparkly tinsel.

Fairies are like aura's you see them with you mind's eye
Being spiritual or etheric beings of their own dimension.

They are pretty awesome, they like it when the residence is fairly clean, with ample flying about rooms and things.

Currently as I'm writing this, through my minds-senses I see a fairy is fluttering about, can hear her shimmering and fairy-dust flying, she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

Good at tending plants, helping with finding things, investigating.

In Thailand they have spirit-houses which get offerings on a daily basis.
They are usually just small or model homes, sometimes with people in them and such.

another thing with making offerings to the forest, is that you can get beneficial-karma that can reciprocate as good-harvest or whatever you'd like to apply the positive-karmic-energy towards. :-)
