Samhain Ritual?
By: / Beginner
Hello everyone and marry meet. =)
I wanted to say happy Samhain to everyone!!

I want to do a ritual each night of the Witches' New Year. (Oct 30, Oct 31, Nov 1)
Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do?
I know I want to do a spirit calling and speak with some lonely ghosts and try to help.
I might also do something to help me resolve some issues with my past lives.
And of course I plan do to something to honor those who've passed.

Any other ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks, blessed be

A few common practices are:
Plates of food are left outside and apples are buried in the ground as a way to feed the souls of our relatives and friends. A candle, it can be an electric candle, is placed in the window to guide them to " the land of eternal summer."

You might also want to do a ritual pertaining to the end of the harvest season and the coming of the winter months. Though what you do is entirely up to you. Just because one individual celebrates the Sabbat a certain way does not mean that the same way will work for you.

If you create your own wy of celebrating it has more meaning.

Blessed Be,
Suliana

What Suliana says is good. I also put out a plate of meat for the hedgehogs that visit my garden (often, though,it gets eaten by cats!), not bread and milk. Milk is not good for Tiggywinkles! I have a small bonfire, and reflect on friends and relatives who have died during the year; and my parents who died years ago.
Blessings for Samhain, today, here in England. Happy New Year!
