Hello to all

Hi. I'm Rosethorn, or Rose if you prefer. I've been a long-time reader of this site, but I haven't actually joined until just now.

I am a witch, but it's very difficult for me to practice a lot of the time, as I am a college student, and things like candles/incense are not allowed in dorms. (If anyone has any advice for me about that, I'd deeply appreciate it.)

I'm also looking for any covens or individuals who work more with the Egyptian deities, since I connect most strongly to them.

Thanks very much,
~Rosethorn.

Ah, I know how you feel. I'm in a University myself; however, I live off campus. If you are allowed to leave campus I would try to find a forest or park, perhaps, where you could practice. Just make sure someone knows where you will be in case something would occur. Better to be safe than sorry.

I work with Egyptian deities myself. My Goddess is Isis and my God is Osiris.

If you like we can chat sometime. Feel free to mail me if you wish.

Nice to meet you, Katinar.

Yes, I am allowed to leave campus. However, it's pretty difficult because I have very little means of transportation.
I would live off campus, but my university is very restrictive about who can do that.

And awesome. Mine are Bast and Anubis, but I feel connected to Isis and Osiris as well.

I would love to chat sometime.

Hi Rose,

I too work with Egyptian Deities, in particular Sekhmet, Tejhuti, Anpu, and Menthu.

There is an excellent website with ideas on how to fit in your practice while in college that you might find useful. You can find it at http://www.collegewicca.com/
