Question: Incantation

Is it better to speak the incantation part of a spell, or can you 'think' the words?

(Even if the spell says to 'say/speak aloud.')

When I recite the incantation in my mind, I feel as if it's 'louder' & more potent than if I speak it aloud.

Or, does it really make a difference?

It wouldn't make much of a difference. The purpose of the words is to help focus your energy. If it really helps and feels more powerful to think of the words, then continue to do so. Since it is okay to make your own spells, then I think that changing a spell to a degree to better suit yourself wouldn't hurt.

In my experience, thinking the words when I'm working alone is more powerful than when I say them aloud. Your intent is heard either way. Do what feels right for you.
