It's rare for me to ask for help because I can mostly solve most of my problems with the guidance of runes but this time I thought that I could use a helping hand.
I always had a fear of heights but it wasn't that of a big thing until nowadays. I started traveling a lot in my city and it often means that I have to go through escalator (which is quite a long one, about 2,5 min up and the same to down). I know that I shouldn't worry about it because it's for one thing natural in a way but still the feeling got stronger recently. A couple of months ago I feared to go up but I didn't worry about getting down. But now it swapped and though I still worry about getting up, the fear isn't that strong while I am trying to get down.
It became quite a problem and even though I tried to go up and down in other escalators to make myself believe that there is nothing to worry about it just made it worse than better. I wonder if there is any spell or something which could help to fight against this feeling.
I can sympathise, after having a bad accident on an escalator I was terrified of the things for a long time, but fear is something that everyone can overcome. Its only a matter of finding what works for you.
Now I don't know how effective this will be for you, but what I found help to go on escalators was to visualise standing somewhere else, like on a field or a forest. Once I had this image I would try to connect to the earth to calm myself by sensing the mental image, trying to smell the sent of the grass or trees, to listen to the wildlife and so on.
