Newbie Help Alert!!!

Hi! I'm a newbie at magic. I can use spells but I have trouble doing so. I used an eye colour changing spell but was only able to put the colour gold in them, and only create these small lines while also making my eyes appear to look like wood. I also tried a shapeshifting spell, but the only thing that happened were the unbearable side effects. Help?

Physical change spells are fake. Illusions at best. Such spells are known as fluffy. They do not work. Magic cannot defy the laws of physics. It works with them, in fact. Many spells are pretty much prayers to specific entities for specific reasons. All in all, science and magick go hand in hand. One does not break the other.
