you can get them at Barnes and nobles.

And you dont learn alchemy you live it. if you are turely intrested in it go for it but its not one of those things were you learn all of its secrets in a matter of months or forget about because you got bored.

Alchemy takes time.

The book that started me out was the Weiser Concise Guide to Alchemy. Does a beginner grand in explaining the ideas, prinicples, and brief overview of Alchemy.

The site I had put up is a site of free pdf's on more than just Alchemy.

Also, Alchemy does take time as it is about the actual process and doing more than it is just about reading. Also know that it is a spirituality as well and that it spans all across Europe and some into Asia and Egypt, so you will get things like Arabic and other texts. Just remember the context and that you can apply it without deity or even with many as well, as I have.

I suggest reading The Secrets of High Magick, by Francis Melville. It includes information about Alchemy and how it can be incorporated in High Magick.

The Weiser Concise Guide to Alchemy recomended earlier is really the place to start. Wish I would have found it 20 years ago. As far as chemistry books, amazon.com! Used books go pretty cheap there.
