Cornelian

I was looking for info on the cornelian gemstone, not carnelian.. but I cant seem to find any! I have been in crystal research and magick for years, and I havent come across it before. I dug a huge lump of it up in a crystal mine, when I was taking my little niece crystal searching, as she appears to have a interest in the topic also.

Its cloudy yellow, the colour is a bit like honey. Any info on its properties magickal or not would be greatly appreciated. :)

I have heard that cornelian is a stone and it can calm anger. I don't know if it's true. Sorry I haven't got more information.

H O W E V E R; Did you google cornelian gemstone, magical properties? E-Z, P-Z this came up; "Cornelian – khakik was especially appreciated. It was believed to bring happiness and health, to save from danger and to prevent a deceit. Probably that is the reason why most ancient bracelets and rings are decorated with cornelian inlays."
I found this at; http://www.sairamtour.com/news/gems/59.html

Thanks LoneStar. Much appreciated :)

I did use Google, but it only came up with results for carnelian. Its a shame, really. It is such a nice looking stone; too.
