A magic number?

I heard 8 is a number that has magic "properties". I want to know if this is true. Thanks

All numbers do; 0 - 10, and then double numbers (sometimes called Master Numbers) like 11, 22, 33, 44, etc. For numbers that are not Master Numbers, add them together until you get a single number. For example: 36 = 3+6 = 9.
