Keep or give the ring?
By:
I have this ring that when I go to sleep with it
and wake up the next morning, I get glimpses
of what the day is going to be like, but my sister
is going to college soon. Should I give her the ring
even though she has been treating me badly? Or let
bigons be bigons and give her the ring?

Keep it.

Your ring sound like an valuable treasure and you should never give away them lightly.

If your sister have been bad to you should just wish her luck and give her something with a lesser value to you and a higher value to her.

i dunno, if you want your sister's college life to go smoothly you should give it her, i mean i personally dont endorse karma but something good has to happen for you if you do that, i mean imagine the mess ups, the fights your sister could avoid, i say you be the better person and give her the ring, but then again its up to you

i would kepp the ring because what if the ring will work with you and not with her? then there would be no point into giving it to her, not to mention she has not been kind to you lately,
do whatever is best for you, but i would keep it and give her something else

I would keep the ring. It's a rare item, and it shouldn't be given away. Plus, the ring may not have the same effect on your sister. She may not be able to see a few glimpses of the day like you can.

Don't ever give it away, and don't ever tell anyone else that you have it. Now that the internet knows, don't ever put anything online which would let anyone identify you in real life. That ring is the most valuable object in the world. Right now all the governments of the earth are coveting it. Can you imagine being a power-hungry dictator, and having a ring which will tell you what day your enemies will try to take your life? In fact, if I knew who you were I would probably kill you and take it, that's how valuable it is. Actually, maybe you better give it to your sister.

what im intrested in is how you came to get such a ring? i mean there have been fabled rings of such kind throughout history but obviously enough unless its a family heirloom which it doesnt sound to be because from what i deduce your sister is your older sister so the ring would have been given to her had it an heirloom so im guessing you found it by chance...

that is clearly a sign that the ring is not eant for her to have and in all likelyness the ring chose you to carry it and be its maser and companion... why else would it allow you the gift of foresight? rngs that posess magickal abilities like this are normally tied to strong magick and have possibly developped what i call the "soul" of the ring with is the embodyment of energy creating living thoughts inside of the item or artifact... to find out if your ring does have what i call a "soul"

think back to when you first saw and and see if it called to you above anything or anyone else, if it has and especially the location...where did you find the ring? these are things to take into account. and if the ring does have a "soul" then its a waste to even give the ring to your sister because its already chosen a master and partner...

hope this doesnt put a cloud over your day xD

My advice is to meditate. Take some time for yourself before she goes to college and decide for yourself what feels right. Different people value family and objects differently. To me a ring is just a ring and has no power that the mind itself can not obtain on it's own while family is an important group in which once a member is lost he/she can not be brought back(with the exception of certain situations and timings). On the other hand, some would say that ring should be a treasure for you and that your sister should not be rewarded for treating you badly and so they would tell you to keep the ring while I would say to give it away. Still more would say that family in general is overrated, objects don't betray you, etc with materialistic/greedy beliefs.

All in all, if you give the ring properly you may patch things up with her and begin a new and brighter relationship with her. Perhaps you should ask the ring to give you a glimpse of what could happen either way; what would happen if you give it as well as what will happen if you don't. Wouldn't it be ironic if after the day she leaves and you decided to keep the ring for yourself you end up losing it anyways? Or if right after you give it to her she gets it mixed up with another ring or forgets in somewhere for someone else to pick it up? The future is ever changing, but a glimpse can help a person change it the way he/she wants it to change.

My reply to JK; How do we know that the ring did not just let itself be known to Elevn so that Elevn could give it to her? If it is meant to be somewhere it will eventually find a way there and sometimes that does involve going someplace entirely different at first.
