trouble casting spells
By:
as the subject says above, I am having trouble casting spells from this site. namely with the phrase: 'mote it be'

I believe the word mote is pronounced differently than standard english. It might be latin. At any rate, I seek to do the servant summon spell, and it has: so mote it be' at the end.

what am I doing wrong?

You don't have to include "so mote it be" in a spell.

Mote is not a Latin word it is an archaic form of English. Essentially the phrase means "Let it be so." You could use this version instead of "so mote it be" if you would rather.

Hi Nickja

I tend to only use the spells on here for inspiration, then I go away and think how i wound to the spell what tools do i think add value some people might think a red candle means can bring love where you could think of it as the blood and use it to help in healing magic.

look at the words and find your own change ones that don't correspond with you. a spell can be a poem a symbol a song or just a sentence there is no wrong or right way just your way i hope you find this useful.
