Your Opinion About Curses

I just want to know what you guys think about curses and cursing others. Another name that can be used is hexing.

Do you curse/hex people?
Do you think people that has done wrong should be cursed/hexed?
Do you believe in the three fold law?

I'm just curious to what others think. I haven't cursed or hexed anyone since I want to use spells for what I consider white magick. :)

Without going into too much detail yes, yes and no.

There is no karmic return, threefold law, or even more absurdly sevenfold law. At least not as a universal law. Backlash from a curse can come from a belief in the above, as well as guilt and doubts, improper spell casting, improper cleansing and banishing etc.

To summarize I have no qualms with cursing. To death and worse if necessary. For justice, revenge or even pest control.

I have considered doing so. I do believe in karma in a sense but not the three fold law. I think of it more like a justice system, flawed and doesn't always seem to work or hit it's mark. I do think some people deserve it. Not everyone is a good person, not everyone should get off scott free for their actions. The law doesn't get them all. Legal and moral are two different things. I don't agree with always turning the other cheek, lay down and take it, smile and ask for more.

No.not really.yes.
About the three fold law,I have seen people so I'm totally sure about it...don't try to hurt people even if they are wrong ,it will come back to you harder than the actual act.

yes.depends.no

Never really understood the threefold law, everything must be balanced but for some reason it hits you three times as hard? doesn't sound like achieving balance to me.

And yeah zelotar's right, most of the time backlash comes from guilt and doubts.

First question:

No, I do not. I am a forgiving and understanding human being and I am able to put myself into the shoes and mentality of even the nastiest of people and I believe that if a behavior is worth taking action against, I wouldn't seek to take action in a spiritual means.

Second Question:

No, well not necessarily. Depends on the act they have done honestly and if they have even recieved a due and judged punishment. Then again that brings up another point, who am I to deem who is guilty enough to be punished by my hand? Isn't that up to a higher power? I know it is a semi-christian ideal and I am capable of taking power into my own hands but I like to leave due punishments up to a higher power in those cases - unless nothing has been done for quite some time.

Third Question:

No. I do believe that what you put out, you get back. I think it's Newton's third law broken down, "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction" and I believe this to be true of spell work and spirituality

Not yet, but I will learn...

It depends. People who doubt me, the ones who do not respect or appreciate me...I will do nothing to them. I am not someone to change their believes about me, I will just leave, I'm not a tree... I can't make somebody appreciate my and I shouldn't. A friend helped me realise that...

From the other hand, if they have hurt me-of course in case I didn't deserve it-then yes, I will curse. I love justice and love the feeling of justice. And in fact if they hurt me a lot, I won't hesitate to torture them seriously, a lot. It's just my moral... But I curse (I will); only in cases others truly deserve it. Not for fun or to spend my time, because this is not a game. And torturing others with no deserving it is an utter shame, embarrassment and extremely low moral for me.

No I don't and I don't believe in Karma either, that's why I prefer to curse on my own. Karma isn't very accurate, many do not get punished...

No.
Everyone has done wrong, so by that reasoning everyone should be cursed/hexed, which is kind of ridiculous. No matter how good of a person you try to be, there will always be someone who assumes you are inherently evil and who will lash out at you with little to no provocation.
I believe in karma, in a sense. Karma doesn't mean the universe will punish you equally for what you have done, it just means your conscience will always come back to haunt you.
I don't believe revenge is the solution. I think forgiveness is, not because they deserve it, but because you deserve it. You deserve to not hold on to wrongdoings that have happened in the past and let them hurt you over and over again. Let it go. For you. What is the saying? "Unforgiveness is like drinking a poison, expecting the other person to die." Just my opinion, though.
