How to astral project

Wherever I try to astral project I doesn't work.Are there any tips I can try

It is widely believed that if you become adept at lucid dreaming, then astral projecting will be easier to accomplish. I don't astral project, I just lucid dream. But my sister who can do both very well has said this is true.
