Tips for a College Witch
By:
Greetings everyonel! I am going to be a freshmen in college as of Saturday and I'm super excited! I have also been practicing witchcraft for quite some time now and I'm trying to think of ways that I can still practice while living in a tiny little dorm! Unfortunately my dormitory prohibits the use of candles (except wickless candles) and the burning of insense. I was wondering if anyone has some words of advice or tips on how to go about practicing in a tiny dorm with all these restrictions? Thanks in advance!!

Unless you feel comfortable getting attention about your practice, I would keep it all a secret. Learn some place outdoors to do practices maybe. Dorm room, new people, new room-mate...completely new environment...maybe back off being open about it.

Thats the kind of stuff that people talk about 2, 3,4 years later.

Ease into it and get a feel for the place before breeching social norms. Finding people who practice will be fun and interesting.

Magick is supposed to be secret anyway.

My 2 cents anyway, youre gonna do what youre gonna do

Good luck, ...

I know there are some colleges out there that support paganism, wicca and other religions. And often have a club or a group. If there is one in your college maybe ask them for advice. As for other things.. Perhaps look into using crystals, oils, knot magic, and simple practices. You could also take the time to do more study on your practice.
