Satanic Path (Theistic?)

Isa 7:10

Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,

Isa 7:11
Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

Isa 7:12
But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.

Isa 7:13
And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

Isa 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Isa 7:15
Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

Isa 7:16
For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

Compare Isaiah 7:10 to 7:13 with Luke 4:9 to 4:12

Luk 4:9
And he (Satan) brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

Luk 4:10
For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

Luk 4:11
And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Luk 4:12
And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

What does Jesus say? He will not ask for a sign (angels catching him, notice also 'height' and 'depth' in Isaiah, throwing yourself off a high place is all about 'height' and 'depth'...), he will not tempt the Lord.

What does Ahaz say? He will not ask for a sign, he will not tempt the Lord.

Who is the Lord? Satan, who is tempting Jesus and speaking to Ahaz.

Mat 1:21
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Mat 1:22
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

Mat 1:23
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Jesus means the Lord saves. Emmanuel means the Lord with us. It's not the same name. It's not the same meaning.

And yes, my belief, in case it isn't obvious, is that a *correct* interpretation of the Bible will lead one to the conclusion that Satan is God. Most people who study the Bible seem to horribly misinterpret it all over the place unfortunately.

Sorry I have to clarify this quite a lot. Firstly - I believe the Bible is referring to Ahaz and Jesus as being the same person.

You are making the least bit of sense.

'You are making the least bit of sense.'

OK would you care to clarify and I'll try to explain?

You say this being is that, and that being is this.
What do you have to back that up with?

I'm making an interpretation of certain passages of the Bible. The evidence is the passages in question and my interpretation of them. I laid out the passages in question clearly.
