I need spells that work

Well, I've tried various spells and I haven't been able to succeed in a single one. I can't use candles or anything like that but I can draw a simple pentagram and that's it. What I really want is anything like summoning a familiar (which I want desperately) any transformation magic (I want a tail or wings or ideally both :D) sensory-enhancing magic, and pretty much anything else. Those ones are just my top wishes :3. Oh, and I don't have a phone so I can't do anything with that. Can anyone help?

My opinion: Magic isn't a science. You don't get ABC ingredients together and go through XYZ steps and expect them to work every time, for every one.

Magic requires a connection with the universe for spells to be effective.

So, perhaps begin with sensory-enhancing magic, which doesn't begin with a spell but extensive meditations...develop ESP and OBE skills, and if you've got an Otherkin identity to awaken or spirit guides or something, then you'll be good to go. That can take decades, though, so about your phone I can only advise to save up and buy one...

Your spells don't work because you don't know what magick really is and how it works. You have an idea of it that is absolutely pure fantasy. Childhood meanderings is not the same as real magick. You will not sprout wings and fly. You will not transform into a mermaid. You will not even "summon" a familiar because you wouldn't know one if it bit you in the behind. You will not enhance any of your senses when you can't use the most general of them all, common sense!

Yes, I am certainly being mean. And it's for your own good. You want to be a witch? Then learn!!! Stop playing with spells like a little kid playing pretend and go out there and pick up a real honest to goodness book like Modern Magick. Research. Magick is disputably either an art or a science depending on who you talk to. What artist or scientist goes without study? None! Does a 16 year old wake up one day and become a scientist? Does a 20 year old wake up one day and create the second most incredible masterpiece of this era? No! They study, they work, they perfect their practice, they experiment with what they learn, and then they master it. Magick is a life long commitment, and if you can't commit to reading a few good books, even if it's while sitting in a bookstore or library, or downloading a simple pdf, how do you expect to learn an art or science? You simply cannot. And you once you do, IF you do decide that you have the ability to commit to such a study, you will learn that magick can do many incredible things far less superficial than the ones you're looking for.

I know nothing of magic because my dad is a christian and I have to do everything in secret. So I obviously can't get a book.

Spells work based on experience. You need to start with the basics, and work your way up.
