Pact with the Devil

HI, Yesterday I signed a pact with the Devil and asked him to give me a proof that he had accepted, but I asked him to give this proof yesterday. Yestarday nothing happened, but today my dogs nearly killed one of my goats she was so injured that I had to shoot her.. and she was pregnant :( Now that I write down seems a bit obvious... He actually accepted, didn´t he?

Seriously pacts with the "devil"? LOL. Do you actually know where Satan comes from outside of a Christian perception? There's a few pagan gods that fits the bill of satan. So its more of a collective concept rather than just one being. Doesn't make them evil either. When you back track a deity it runs everywhere including have both an "angelic" and demonic aspects, especially in Aramaic/ Abramic traditions. Pacts with entities can happen but not in the manner of "selling one's soul" which normally gets tossed in with pacts with the "devil". For starters you can't sell what doesn't belong to you sort of speak. However the media has over played what real magick is and made it something it's not. This is no exception. Personally I think you're blowing typical animal behavior into something more than what it is. Dogs can get vicious without reason and the "devil" doesn't make them do it. Animals just do. I really urge you to learn reality from fiction.

I assume you believe in the Christian type of devil and according to the Christian faith certain actions result in his possessing your soul so in my mind he already owns it if you try to sell it, but I'm not well versed in the bible or religious topics in general. I'm just realistic and though it might not be labeled a sin I would think desiring to pretty much give up your soul for material things would mean he owns it, but at the same time according to the Christian faith the Christian God owns your soul already as he gave it to mortals or created their souls so it's not your property to sell. In the end I can understand desiring money, power, etc..., but if I believed in souls, the devil, etc...which I do I'd be more worried about consequences of such an action than enjoying the results.
Also if different perceptions and beliefs about the devil are to be believed he's tricky and you aren't likely to get what you ask for or at least not in the way you expect. One wild yet possibility if satanic or demonic pacts are real is asking for money and having a family member you love die leaving you money via a will or life insurance policy. In the end the old saying be careful what you wish for applies.

Actually demons are pagan gods that got a bad reputation especially during the dark ages while Christianity was being pushed to be the "faith " and those very same gods have a "divine " aspect as well. Satan itself revolves around being human and all the "negative " attributes we have that got "demonized" in order to establish some kind of control over it's followers. I'm not bashing the faith itself its very insightful just don't care for religion of any kind. Pacts do happen however it's normally with a more malevolent entity and not the real deal. But not to the extent of like you see on movies.

lol, orangegirl thanks for that, it was my first laugh of the day.

in terms of the christian devil, he isn't real [at least in the craft] you could swear an oath to Lucifer, but he's not as Christianity depicts. he's nothing more than a fallen angel. he doesn't go around making pacts with foolish mortals at midnight at a crossroads on the full moon and that makes you a witch. if it was, i'd be talking to your face, and not on the computer because clearly, we're in 1690.

if i could work my will, before anyone did ANYTHING [be it convert or fling 'facts' about something you disagree with] they would have to do at least an hours worth of research. sadly this isn't my world, so i'm stuck with ethnocentric beings who don't wish to look into stuff. my advice to you gaian is this: RESEARCH. please, before you go any further in your beliefs, read into them. if you believe you made a pact with the devil, look into accounts, historical and recent. if you're wanting to get into Satanism, again, look into actual facts. don't talk to your preacher, or randomly type it into a search engine. you're on SoM there are Satanists here, post a topic asking about it, or type 'satanism' into the search bar located in the upper corner, you can find posts as well as articles on the subject. blessed be.
