body warm spell

I have an idea for a spel that's warms you up it works for me !chant:I'm cold. Cold as ice. Make me warm. Warm as the sun.so mete it be ! : and you have to believe in it!!:)

Didn't work for me. >.< Then again, I'm always freezing, so I doubt it would warm me up. Nice little chant, though. :)

Avoid using words to describe what you are attempting to be free of. This is only subconsciously causing you to think "cold" and "ice".

You should say something like "I am hot. Hot as fire. Warm me as I desire" off the top of my head lol. Concentrate on heat, fire, hot. Everyone knows the mind has power over the body. When we are cold, we tense up and all of our blood begins to concentrate on our organs. When we are warm and relaxed, blood flows freely through our limbs providing circulation etc. By convincing ourselves we are hot instead of cold, if we do it well enough, we can cause our bodies to respond and feel warm. But this is only temporary. Once the cold is too intense, you need to actually get to a warm place or something hot to drink. But it's a neat trick of the mind when you have to walk your dog or you're just a little chilly. You have to do it before your body becomes cold, just before or immediately after you feel that cold breeze and shiver!

You can also imagine the hottest summer day you can recall, and try to "relive" it in your mind. Try to look around you and imagine it being hot and sunny instead of cold and snowy. Brrrr.

I get cold a lot too Amber! I use this mental trick all the time.
