Vigil candle jar

I have been burning a uncross vigil candle and it has burn clean and clear now it is almost at the end and i see the top part of jar smokey. Hopeful some one can tell me why has it done this when was burning so clear.

That is pretty normal for candles in glass jars to do. It has to do with the petroleum products and imperfections in the wax. Even when your candle is buring with a clear flame there is carbon being produced as the wax burns. This will deposit as soot on the inside of the glass. This is a perfectly normal physical thing to happen and contains no magical meanings.

I feel Lark has already said enough. The combustion reaction of a candle will always produce carbon dioxide and other by products from the impurities of wax.
