In my country,Greece there were some grate people who now are saints. Paisios for example. Anyway, we are Orthodox Christians. Their prophecies were that their will be and 3rd world war!!! We will get our lands from the Turks and ne part of them will kill one other will Chritening and one other part will go to Arabia!!
Do you think that thee prophecies will come true??? Or general any other prophcies but the question is: how did they know all these??
With age,experience, and (sometimes!) wisdom, people can often predict what may, or is likely, to happen. World war? That is going on now! Syria,Iraq,Lebanon, Israel, and many parts of Africa. The Human Race has always indulged in wars for one reason or another. (Mainly religion!) Because Humans in the main, are idiots!
About the last one you are apbsolutely right! It was saying that turks will come to our country trying to take our country but they will hurt only 1-2 islands. We will take Konstadinoly back. A lot of blood will be spilled there. We will take or our lands back. Then an angel will appear and stop the war. The Greek lands will be back to us.

I've read an article, that the cypriots are negotiating, a lot of Turks don't care about being enemies of Greece, I don't know how it is the other way around.
Lightning, a war between Greece and Turkey would hardly be a "world" war! THe world war right now is going on between fanatical Muslims and the rest of the world!
Honestly with things as finicky as prophesies and ones as old as these I think context and accurate meaning sometimes get lost in translation. Also humans always fight. It doesn't take a seer to figure out there would eventually be a war. thats just my two cents
Lightning you are young.I grew up during WW2, and it involved just about every country in the world; not just two or three. Such a world war now would be just about impossible.
