"Black Magic White Magic"

I've debated with myself over this for a long time. I don't know if I believe there is actual black magic or white magic because in a way we worship the same Lady and Lord only in a different form (Like the Hunter and the Crone.) In our holidays the Lord and Lady...kinda switch forms. So I suppose the real question is if there is a difference? I've met someone who said they mostly do dark magic, but still follow the rede, and worship the Lunar Goddess and the Horned God...Is that any different from regular worship?

First off, magick has no color. It depends of the intent of the practiconer. White magick is used for good purposes, and black magick for the bad. White magick is used to help people, but black magick is for cursing someone.
Hope this helps!

I'd actually say the color most attribute to the intention of the caster is based on the moral and ethical views of the one judging. I don't see curses and hexes as being any diffent than healing or protecting. It depends on the situation in which they are used.

That said, you have to be willing to deal with the consequences of your own actions in magick and in life.

I would also like to note that some would consider High Magick to be white Magick. Crowley was largely under the impression that using Magick to connect to your divine nature was "white," and any other Magick could be viewed as black Magick due to its "undivine," nature. Though when I read the article it did not exclude the or disdane the use of practical, nor did crowley, he just seemed to throw it up as a point.

I'm sorry I've had trouble finding the words I wanted to say this in, so forgive me if this is a little convoluted.

These, "colors of magik", sprang from the various forms of the media.

Your intent of the ritual, is what matters.
