So I'm wondering if there's a spell that "carves a new path, one that must be taken" or "we'll increase the chance of..."

If not, how would one go about creating such a spell? Or perhaps altering fate is too dangerous?

As the ancient greek epics such as the Oddesey, and the stories of Oedipus written by Homer, have told us time and time again that messing with fate ultimately will harm us in the end. I cannot say from experience if this is true or not, simply because I do not even attempt to change my feet (there is no need).

If you are trying to change your current life path, then do so! We have choices as human beings to live our life the way that makes us happy (or even sad, or perhaps angry). If you are unhappy with your life currently then change it!

Everyone deserves to be happy and proud of themselves. If there is fate for all of us, it will include some element of pride and happiness.

Such wise words. Thank you then. I suppose that messing with fate will ultimately ruin my life. Such things aren't meant to happen after all.

And metal...I do and don't agree with you. I believe that fate and free will go hand-in-hand, supporting each other. Choosing one path will inevitably lead to a different path being chosen and so forth...

Argh, it's hard to explain, haha.

There is actually a paradox that fate presents, because we as human beings are capable of life-changing decisions and as a result we cannot know if we are always on the 'right' path or 'fated' path. It seems that even though we change our life's direction several times, we still find happiness.

Hmm, I think that any path we take leads to either the original result or a similar one.
