So I've noticed that there are many bright knowledgeable people on this site, with years of experience behind them.
But when I ever I go on the forums theres usually a butting of heads because of different beliefs either because of different religions, or maybe covens idk.
But my question is, is there any one set of...well fundamentals that every single person can stand behind?
Like is there any belief that everyone in every part of magic would without a doubt support and share???
Well I think everyone here believes that you should meditate? and that spells work lol. beliefs on here vary greatly as you can see. Even some believing that the magick others perform is complete ****. Just believe what you believe. study the different religions and choose one to follow, or even dont follow them and come up with your own beliefs. :)
Hello: I believe we are a large family and as with all families view points will differ but the core of this family is Faith, trust, and belief. these three little words make the difference between night and day when doing any magickal activity.

I think we already have something all of us believe: magic works. It doesn't matter if you're Christian, Buddhist, Jewish or Hindoeist, all of us on this site are bound by magic. That's what holds us together. Blessings
P.S.: There will always be conflicting views on a site like this that harbors hundreds of different non-Judeo-Christian beliefs (as well as Judeo-christian - there are christian witches here). The best thing to do is decide what you believe and stick to it. It is going to be like this for a long time.
It all really is a matter of belief. If you sincerely believe that something exists, then for you, it exists. It may not for others.
For instance, Scrupulous says that murder is bad. That is her belief. It is certainly against the law, but really bad? What if a wife had years of extreme cruelty by a husband, and she takes a knife with the full intention of killing him. That, by definition in law, is murder. But is it bad? If you believe it is, then it is!
