Coven Mass Mailings?

I was wondering if it would be possible to put in a mass mailing option for coven leaders.

Due to the trolls on the site, there is a limit to the number of mails a person can send within an hour. Yes, I find the use in this since I've been mailed by more than a few trolls in my time, but it makes it more difficult for leaders to send mass mails to their members.

Mass mailing members takes hours of sitting on the computer, or you are forced to make multiple names, or to have others (such as the other leaders and the councilors) mass mail members.

For a small coven, mass mailing isn't a problem. If you have under twenty members, you can easily mail everyone in the coven without having much issues. However, for larger coven covens, it becomes a big problem really fast. For even larger covens (the ones with over 100 members), will have huge issues.

So, why not a mass mailing option? I'm not sure if it's possible to set up on the site since I don't know or understand coding at all, but if it is, it would be nice to see.

I find myself mass mailing inactive members before I kick them out, something to say that their inactivity was why they were removed, and that they can rejoin if they wish.

I also mass mail members when I'm making any big changes in my coven. With over 30 members on average, and no clue as to what the limitations for mass mailing are, I spend quite a while waiting for the mass mailing limits to move.

So, it's just a sort of askance.

I agree with this suggestion, the ability to "mass mail" coven members as a Priest/ess would be an invaluable upgrade. Not only shaving time off completing tasks within the coven setting, but also keeping up with Coven members. And yes I am aware of the quick answer to this suggestion; "Just post it in the forums", I would agree with that if members always checked the forums everytime they logged in.

You're not at all crazy Divinus. I can't tell you how monotonous it is of a task to email several members about the same thing worrying about A--not spamming so you have to word it different each time, and B--taking the time to literally pull up every profile one at a time and clicking mail.

I can hear people getting mad telling us that we don't have to email members about different things, well that's true, but we also don't have to keep the coven running smoothly or at that, running at all.

I would also love this feature to be made sometime in the future.

From what is been said by you all, you do a lot more then what is realised having to work around loop holes in a sense that in some cases should not be there, as for the mailing, priest/priestess should be able to communicate to its member by any means possible, and this looks like it would save a lot of time so your time could be spent more on helping to teach and guide the members of the site, thank you for the hard work you put in and i hope this gets voted in, you have my vote.

i cant see why it would be necessary ? surely a personal e mail on a one to one basis shows more of a personal touch than mass mailings ? although i do understand the reasons given in the above comments. just my own thoughts, blessings be , macus
