depending who you ask.

a Warlock is usually seen as a lable or title. It can be taken as a title for a male witch over priest, or be Thrust upon some to label them traitor. Depends on whom you ask, it has several meanings.

in direct magic a sorceror is a being that interacts with a realm called the Twilight (not in reference to the books!).

Its an area that is formed of mostly negative energies, but is more neutral then overtly hostile.

A wizard, also in direct magic, is known as one that manipulates the astral realm to achieve their effects. Here Or there.

google the library of knowledge, its by Tomekeeper.

It explains it much more in depth

I learned a warlock is a like a rebel witch. One who uses magic to fight against those who practice magic to get rid of them.

A sorcerer is one who uses magic most often in a job like fashion.

A wizard is usually male and is very pagan in their magic. They are very similar to a shaman.

Now understand there are no right and wrong answers to this question. But one thing they all are is magic practitioners.

I learned it this way:

Warlock; A spell-caster that uses magick to aid himself or others during some form of conflict, usually a physical fight of some kind.

Sorcerer; A spell-caster that was born with a strong talent for spell-casting, usually surpassing others who study the same fields of magick.

Wizard; A spell-caster that was not born with a talent for spell-casting, but has learned to cast spells through allot of research, study and practice.

But these may not be correct. I don't hold any of the titles because I do not cast spells. :) I do perform rituals on occasion, talk to Spirits, and manipulate energy, but I wouldn't call any of that spell-casting.

Why label yourself or others? Like kts said we all do magic so I figure it should be on ones personal opinion what they want to be called without prosecution LOL
