It was used in French hospitals to drive out "demons" that caused illness. It's great for exorcisms. I'm not sure how well that will go with body butter hehe, but it can be an added bonus to keep away spiritual parasites.

Frankincense has long been used in witchcraft as a medicine. It has many properties, and is edible. It used to be very expensive, and only the wealthy witches could get it, as most of it came from Africa or India; transport costs in the old days was a bit steep!
Experiments are going on now in British Universities, because it seems to inhibit,or kill, cancer cells. I don't know if they are also being done in the USA, but I wouldn't be surprised! It is getting more difficult to get hold of good Frankincense these days as the Christian churches buy so much of it. The oil is made by "steaming" the four different types blended together. Put a few drops on a salad; it's a "knockout"; and good for you! But I suppose it would give a nice fragrance, and a calming effect to your Body Butter! As for the "spiritual" side, I don't know much about that!
