Candles- beeswax or soy?

Which candles seem to be the most effective? Beeswax or soy? I primarily use soy-based as they are more readily available and cost less, but desire to know, so my future spell-casting can be more effective. All help is appreciated!

I'm pretty sure they both work the same. It's just the colour of candle that you should co-ordinate with the type of spell to make the spell more powerful.

I've heard some older witches swear by beeswax since it has been used to make candles for forever. However, I buy whatever is available to me in the colors that I need for my workings. But if I could do it the way I see as being the most effective? Well, then it would be handmade candles. Any type of wax would be fine as when you make candles by hand you are adding your own personal energy to them. Plus this allows you to pick your own colors and scents. Heck you can even add in dried herbs. These little things can make a huge difference on your spells. However, this isn't a realistic option for many. So instead, pick whatever colored candles you feel are best and anoint them properly. It won't make a difference what the wax is made from as long as you put enough focus on your goal.

Normaly it's a personal preferace(like dry or fresh herbs) but some spells call for one or the other
