As the dates of the zodiac signs have changed over many years and there are 13 zodiac signs is it possible to have Ophiuchus as an ascendant or moon sign?

The constellation Ophiuchus is not generally accepted as a sign, for many believed the sun to pass directly from Scorpius to Sagittarius. However, the skies change, and the stars move. So, to maintain accuracy, one must accept this change.

However, the Sun, only spends 19 days passing through Ophiuchus before entering the house of Sagittarius. Ophiuchus is patterned after the Sumerian god Enki, which also is referred to as 'Serpent Holder'.

Ophiuchus, as Enki was, is attributed for healing and medicinal knowledge and one who reaches for higher ideals. He has also been akin to Imhotep, who has been accredited for being a high priest of the Egyptian Heliopolis (a major ancient Egyptian city, after Thebes and Memphis), as well as having been the architect for the first of the great pyramids.

The dates for the sun passing through Ophiuchus are November 30-December 17.
I was born within this time span, but before Ophiuchus was commonly known of. I still consider myself a Sagittarius.

I should have read your question better. You were asking about moon signs. My apologies.

No problem. And thank you for your answer even if it wasn't what I was asking for.
