New kid on the block

Greetings, all. I've been interested and using energy practices since I was little (actually willing temperature change when I was as young as 8) and I've recently turned my attention more towards psionics and spellcasting. As of now I can only really seem to do some minor energy manipulation and healing, so with practice and the aid of some magic, I hope to become more skilled in healing mainly. Learning a few other tricks would be nice too.

This kind of community and Wicca just feels natural to me. Like home, kinda. I've read a bit about Wicca and some of the other pagan belief systems (I like learning about religions and such, even though I don't fully identify with any of them), and I've always had some indescribable attraction to the moon. Growing up watching Charmed probably had a hand in the interest, too.

I know this whole witchcraft thing is about results and not about any kind of fashion or clique or anything like that, but I do feel like if I were to dress how I feel is according, it'll get me in a better mindset for workings, a concept I've seen often recommended around here. Also, I like the idea of dressing in period or "fantasy" style clothing.

Well, I've blathered on enough for now. I hope to make many friends and allies here. I hope to be welcomed as your new brother, as I have already welcomed you all as my brothers and sisters. I hope to learn and teach as a family. Lastly, I wish everyone luck on their endeavors, as I hope I am wished luck on mine.

Welcome to SoM! And haha, I always like to dress in somewhat bohemian, flowing-style clothing when I cast spells. Good luck with your studies!
