Moon phase

If I'm doing a spell related to friendships,communication,attracting people etc. , and it's supposed to be done for many days in a row, can I start today (full moon) even though it may go into the wanning phase? will it damage the spell effect?

This coming full moon is in Gemini, so it would be absolutely approriate to do a communication and freindship spell at this time. Also there is a lunar eclipse, which will be like a magnifying glass on your efforts.

At the same time, I would recommend doing such a spell on a waxing moon. So, bearing in mind that this is a very special full moon (on the 28th), perhaps start now and finish on the third day of the full moon?

Well the spell is supposed to be done 9 days - once initially,then the rest of the days a "short" version in the morning. Not sure what to do, because this spell even has nine mentioned in the text. Uh. Help? D:

If the spell would take you into the waning moon then I would either change the wording so that it is enough to do it during the three days of the full moon, or I would wait and do it after the next new moon when the moon is again waxing.

Magickally, the eclipse is effectively like a whole moon cycle in one go. I would personally make the most of the oportunity. Of course, listen to your gut feeling as to what feels right for you :)

It should work just fine changed to the three instead of the nine. Any benefit you would have received from doing it nine times would have been negated by doing it during the waning moon.
