Magick is not prejudiced

Magick is not Prejudiced, it doesnt care about race, religeon sexual orientation or disability. and speaking of disability. If you are diabled, it does not mean you cannot do magick. Sometimes you just have to get a little creative. dont let anyone tell you that you cant. If you cant walk a circle, visualize it! if you are blind, use your other senses to help. im mute, so i often "Shout" the verbal components in my head if i am doing a spell. use what you have, get creative. and be the best practitioner you can be with what you have!

I don't mean to sound rude, but who said that magick was ever divided into races. There are traditions, where as most Africans practice Voodoo, or Irish practicing Celtic paganism. Otherwise, I agree with everything you said. :)
Take care!

wow you're mute? interesting i've seen some posts by you before, i always though you spoke in a very proper way, with a nice warm voice. sorry, in my head everyone looks like their avatar and i don't tend to think they're not the same as the picture, be it anime or otherwise. might be a good thing, since i don't care who you are in real life [age, gender, so on] it comes down to what you have to say/type.

you make an excellent point, magic isn't reserved for the few who were taught by a certain person from a certain place, it's for everyone to do. like many things, it can be harder for others. myself, it's more rewarding that way. sometimes discouraging, but still very rewarding. i love painting but i suck at painting birds [among other things] so i sort of avoid painting birds in my work. this past summer, my grandfather asked me to paint a blue jar for him on this box at the cottage. i was worried i'd screw up, it took a while, but i actually painted a half decent looking bird. [best one i've ever done anyway] with magic, it's how much effort you put in that will bring you success.

and in regards to speaking words aloud, while a booming voice can bring conviction to a spell, i don't tend to say my spells aloud, and when i do, it's tends to be in a whisper. i focus more on visualization than chants. pretty much anything in this life can be done if you're determined to do it.

Great point! Right on the money! I am always reminded of Yoda in Star Wars. There is no can't and do or do not. There is no try! Maybe when we realize that magick doesn't care what color we are or religion or whatever we might stop thinking along those same old tireing, limiting, lines of thought ourselves. Everyone is special in their own right.
