Nope. Unless we're talking the whole Lazarus thing, and then that's debatable.

The Lazarus thing is a story from the bible where Jesus raises a man named Lazarus back to life who had been dead for some number of days.
And I disagree. It's only possible if you set your mind to it and with a strong will. Just like with any thing you want done you have to believe you can do it before you can. I recommend studying the art of Necromancy. Just to warn you though it's very strong black magick and is NOT to be taken lightly or done incorrectly for doing so will have bad reactions.

Many people believe that the deceased are alive, just not on the physical plane.

And then some people complain about hauntings, really. Why disturb the dead?

You must understand the logic of people back then. When someone was pronounced dead, it was debateable if they were. It could be a coma, so they had a "wake" to see if the person would "wake up". They had bells inside coffins so that if the person were to wake up, he could ring the bell a and they would dig them back up.

But now a days we have very sensitive equiptment that makes sure we are 100% dead, and to top it off, during an autopsy, they cut the artery, and if it gushes...well the person was alive, but won't be for long. There is a very rare disease where a person "drops dead" the blood even pools as if he/she were dead but they wake up again. These people carry around medical tags so that they are not mistaken for being dead.

There are many diseases that make someone appear as a zombie.

Here are a few, with lovely pictures.

Here is another example of "bringing back the dead"

" In Haiti, zombification is a punishment for severe crimes. Coupe poudre is the powder used by a bokur to induce zombification. The active ingredient of coupe poudre is tetradotoxin (TTX), produced in the liver and ovaries of some species of puffer fish (e.g. Fugu rubripes). TTX is a neurotoxin 500 times more potent than cyanide. It acts by blocking the sodium ion channels which enable nerve and heart cells to produce electrical impulses. In miniscule doses TTX causes a near-death state in which metabolic functions are depressed, so that breathing and pulse rate are undetectable. Total paralysis follows, although the brain and senses remain intact. The victim is thought to be dead and is buried alive.

A few days after being buried, the 'zombie' is disinterred and given another powder containing atropine and scopolamine. These are toxic and hallucinogenic compounds from the plants Datura metel and Datura stramonium (both known as the 'zombie cucumber'). This powder, when administered, puts the victim into a permanent state of delirium and disorientation in which they experience delusions and hallucinations. He or she can then be made to do menial work for those against which the crime was committed." (Taken from http://neurophilosophy.wordpress.com/2006/05/24/voodoo-zombies-the-puffer-fish/ )

I would stick to CPR, and you can add a little magick to it if you will it. But besides shock paddles and CPR performed on someone who has not had their heart stop for long, bringing life to the deceased isn't very practical magick. All claims to have done so can be explained in other ways.

By the way, on a side note, Lazarus was told by Jesus to go into his bedroom and take off all of his clothes after he "brought him back to life". I'm sure they didn't play chess in there. Some food for thought!

so, here is my thought about it:

I believe it is possible (although I am not sure) that you can raise the dead. You have to take the life of a living person and somehow channel it into the corpse, giving life to the dead person, but killing the person that is alive.

Is my theory right?
