offerings to Mummies
By:
Hello, today I went to a museum to see an Egyptian Mummy. (I live in Hull, England.) And I felt incredibly uncomfortable whilst with it. I spoke to my mum after and she said she heard about an offering where you hold it in cupped hands? I tried to google it but can't find anything.... I was hoping someone may be able to shed some light on some offerings that I could take next time... I don't wish to seem disrespectful to the Mummy even though I did apologize... Any help you could give me is greatly appreciated as I still a bit out of sorts, thank you,
Blessed Be,
Bella

A lot of people seem to have ¨Bad vibes¨ when it comes to Mummies. There are many articles throughout history that speak of people becoming ill and such. PLEASE keep in mind that they where mainly archaeologists and not visitors before you get paranoid. I´m not sure what kind of offering you could leave in present day aside from flowers...Offerings from back then where things like cloth, beer, and whatever was deemed godly.
