Hey everyone! Been lurking on this site for some time, haha. I stumbled upon SoM about a year ago, needing some more direction for banishing something stubborn and nasty. I deal in Asian influenced things; I'm not Wiccan, but I've had friends who were back in the day and I respect that--that threefold business is no laughing matter. I believe in spirits, both human and those of nature, as well as angels and demons.
My element's Light; mostly I deal in protection and purification, but I've been expanding into the art of seeing auras and reading the tarot, lately. I've got a lot of work to do, and I'm looking forward to it!
Good luck to everyone.

Hello to you too.

I would like to add that Light is not traditionally considered an element. It is merely a derived aspect of Fire. You may feel a very close connection to that very aspect, but that does not make it an element!

Even in Asian Culture and Tradition, it has never been considered an element. Merely as a concept to contain the dualities of Good and Evil, Yin and Yang.

-shrugs- I've been told otherwise by other people, but it's good to know that! I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for the welcome.

Hey there, and I've also been here just under a year myself. I remember taking an interest in oriental culture at quite a young age, I used to love going down to my local Chinese market.I'd pick up a dragon painting scroll and playdraw the item I'd bought and add some detail of my own! Was great fun.
Have you tried anything so far to get rid of this negative energy or entity? Like is this thing something personal within or is this stubborness an external thing to you?

@trikoNa,

That sounds like it was fun! I'm South Asian actually. (Made me feel a bit weird being told Light's not an element earlier; where I come from, it is one! But to each their own...) That's how I've been doing sort of low-level magic since childhood, without really calling it as such. I sort of grew up doing candle magic and using incense and certain quick prayers/superstitions to drive out bad luck or evil spirits.
I've tried quite a few things to get rid of the negative entity I'm dealing with; in the end I had to enlist help from someone else. It seems to be going better now, but it's just exhausting, all the casting. A banishing, followed by a purification, followed by a protection, all that done DAILY just to make even the slightest difference...whew! Honestly, a lot of the reason I hang out on SoM is just to know that other people know what the feeling is like! No one in my life who's my age really understands it, not that I'd wish it upon anyone of course.
Sorry for the TMI, haha. I'm sure that was more information that you'd asked for. :P

Hey no no no, in fact that had me in tears. Having to go through whY your experiencring on a daily basis and feeling alone in it must be unbearable at times, if I may can I include you in my prayers? I'll make a special dedication to my guru to remove the entity from your life, it's a very powerful banishment mantra that I know of which will also help.
It's by the Buddha of protection, Dorje shugden. The mantra is (in Sanskrit) OM VAJRA WIKI WRITTRANA SOHA.
Also if you have any prayer beads like old ones lying around, have them blessed by this mantra, then place o.e at every entrance to yourhouses. It is said in ancient Tibetan lore that this will cause the spirit to become trapped and will begin to panic.
Then the lama or monk would come down from the monestery and banish the spirit from the house, to the human it's just a prayer bead but to the spirit they are terrifying wrathful beings. But then again you don't need to go that far , the mantra would work just as well, I was just saying more that's what would hahundreds of years ago!
