Hi Angelica, I am not myself Seax Wiccan.

Seax Wicca, as you may have read, was created by Ray Buckland largely as a way to construct a form of Wicca that did not require initiation or participation in a coven. In doing so he combined some Outer Court Wiccan material with some of what is known of Anglo-Saxon religions.

Of course now there are many other solitary Wiccans out there who are doing the same thing that those engaged in Seax Wicca did then. They don't seek covens or initiation, but they find spiritual value in working on their own.

My one issue with Seax Wicca was that at one time there was a very homophobic attitude among those who were leading that Tradition. I think that has improved since then, but it left a bad taste in the mouths of a lot of people.
