Beginner Spells To Try?
By:
Hi,

I want to know if there is any beginner spells that you would suggest for me to do. I have already attempted 2 spells. One is a neko spell that has not worked. The other is a dragon spell. The dragon spell seems to be working great but someone has told me that it is not suggested for beginners like myself. Though, as I have stated already I already tried it and it seems to be working just fine. The spell I used is "Dragon creation from egg to end' which was contributed by Noralidy_304. Any tips or advise?

Please no fluffies or mean comments.

Thanks!

Also is there any Finding your element spells that I could do? I would like one that is fast and easy to do. I would like something that doesn't require a candle because it is nearly impossible for me to get to one of those.

The problem is that there is no such thing as a Beginner spell. One either knows how to do magic or one does not. And if you do know how to do magic then you can do any possible spell. Part of the issue is the idea that all you have to do to do a spell is to read some words you found on a website, light a candle or two and Voila! Your spells will work. That isn't how magic works at all, and trying it that way will be a disappointment.

If you are serious about learning how to master spellwork, then it's going to take time, study and effort. Here are some books that I'd suggest:

"Before You Cast a Spell" by Carl McColman
"Spells and How They Work" by Janet and Stewart Farrar
"The Veil's Edge" by Willow Polson
"Modern Magick" by Donald Craig

Some spells on here will never work no matter how hard you try. You can't turn yourself into some mythical being or anything other than human. You can't create a dragon egg or a dragon here on the physical plane. Magic can help with some things, but even magic is still bound by the physical laws of the Universe.

Another misconception is that idea that we have an "Element". We don't. That idea is a bit of Hollywood stuff that became popular in the 1990's after the movie The Craft introduced it. We are made up of all of the Elements and the idea is to learn to bring all of them in balance within us. We may have a greater affinity for one or two Elements, but that just means we need to spend more time developing a relationship with the ones that we have a harder time with. Another misconception is that we are the Element that is related to our Zodiac sign. There are several problems here, not the least is that we are more than simply our birth sign. One also has to look at the positions of the other planets in the various Houses. For instance, I was born under the sign of Taurus (Earth) but I also have parts of my chart in Water signs, and a lot in Fire. So looking at your whole chart will clearly show that one isn't simply a single Element.

I must also respond to one of the answers you received stating that some spells will not have any negative repercussions. ANY spell can have negative effects if one isn't careful about it. As an example of something that backfired on me many years ago...I did a money spell. Several days later I was involved in a car accident. My neck was hurt, my car was severely damaged. Five months later I received a sizable check from my insurance company. So I got the result I was looking for in that I got some money...but the way in which I got it was not what I would have wanted.

Magic is like a two-edged sword. It can do you great good, or it can do you great harm. The only way to be fairly certain that you will achieve what you want without negative results is to learn as much as possible about how and why magic works before you go casting spells willy-nilly.

Thanks for sharing that Lark I only said it had no negative repercussions because for me nothing bad has happened yet and I think I usually picture the way I want to receive the money.
Now that I know I shall precede with caution in all that I do you are right though one should always be careful in what they wish for.My apologies Saphira I only spoke from my own experiences head Larks words carefully (she is wise) cause no matter how easy a spell might be it can work, don't work or give you what you want in a way you never expected to gain it in the first place.

Thank you, when I attempted the 2 spells I took a lot of precaution because I didn't want anything to go wrong. Although Lark, I do have to say I disagree with you on the subject of dragons because I have been communicating with a ghost for years now ad I have asked her to find out if she can locate where my dragon egg is and she has found it. She also said it was on the physical plane.

No harshness ment.

Remember that spirits often tell us things that aren't true. Dragons do not exist on the physical plane, no matter what your ghost told you. But I suspect that is a lesson you'll have to learn for yourself.

To paraphrase something we've all heard "Don't believe everything a spirit tells you"
