I have been so drawn to this field and have been encouraged by family members so here i am. If anyone would like to give a simple honest shy person some guidance or friendship it would be greatly appreciated. Hi Rainy, welcome to the site. I'm on here most days and happy to try to answer questions if I can. Mostly I approach things from a Wiccan standpoint, so if you're questions are about Wicca I can probably help.

Hi Rainy,
I too am new. I was told (someone please tell me if I have been told incorrectly) that you can use candles from any store, and you can use herbs out of your cupboard. Just make sure everything is cleansed. The true magick comes from within...the candles, incense, herbs, etc. just help you. If I am wrong I will be more than happy to delete this response.

P.S. I wish my family would encourage me :)

Blessed Be! )O(

A supply list would depend on what path or magick you want to learn about. I would say candles, incense, sea salt, herbs, and anything else depending on path. All of these can be found at Walmart, and dollar stores. If you want to you can make an altar with all the things that go on one. There are many posts on it here. Use the search bar. Learning basics is important, especially if you are going to use magick of any kind; spells, rituals, etc..
May you find what you seek. Blessed Be...
