Finding my soul?

This will not be some ginger joke ( even though I am ginger but that's besides the point ) and I'm not saying my soul is lost. I was just wondering what my soul is. I've heard of star , indigo, rainbow, crystal children and dragon souls ( because the name escapes me, but I don't know what I am. I don't feel like any of those that I listed or human. I find many things odd but interesting, like when you learn about another culture, but none of it feels like me. My sense of style is very very out there, I find romance and cuddly sweet stuff weird, I only act ways when asked something from what I see from TV because the feeling or whatever is completely foreign to my mind. I'm not very good at explaining. I don't know what my soul is but I know for certain I am not human.

For some people not likeing romance, and cuddly stuff, is completly normal. People become and do what they see and watch or who they hang around is usully what builds up your personality. If you strongly believe you are not human then I gues do meditation to clear your mind out to find out what you really are. If you already have an idia of what you could be and your really attatched to what it is you think you are maybe thats what you are. Eventually you will find out :) Wish you all of lucks :)

I meant, like, I find it weird how the romance is all of it, including the love part. And by the tv part I don't mean learning to build my personality, I mean mimicking them so I appear normal instead of not caring for really dramatic things like an accident or a death, or smiling when you're supposed to smile instead of a blank stare of I don't care.
Whenever I try to meditate I get ditracted easily( ADD ) or someone walks into my room. I can never be at peace unless I'm in the shower but that's shower time so it's a no.

It would be impossible to be alive without your a soul, our soul leaves our body when we die.

There are many occasions in life when we feel uncomfortable, this is either due to a particular weakness within ourselves or when we are uncomfortable for a perfectly good reason. Many people feel uncomfortable in circumstances described by you.

In my understanding ADD(ADHD?) is a very human condition, so that fact alone should be proof enough to yourself that you are in fact human.

Your disconnection to yourself and the word sounds like you need to do some soul searching and discover who you really are on a physical, mental and spiritual level.

Shoshana: But the ADD affects ( effects ) brains not souls, I'm just asking if anyone has a clue to what my soul could be. I'm not saying I'm disconnected either. I kind of feel transexual ( I'm just using this as an example. ) Kind of like wrong body. Is that a better explanation?

You were referring to an example of the ADHD kicking in when you meditate - which is a brain function.

If you are unsure of your sexuality that is a whole different issue - and very confusing I am sure. Probably best to speak to a councillor or somebody a bit more qualified to give advice on the matter; this may not be the best website. :)

As Shoshana suggests, your soul is well and intact. It's not necessarily different - though each is somewhat unique - but the normal, confused spirit of a teenager at your age. If you have to mimic everyone to appear "normal," well, that isn't so unusual either. I attempted the same for a long time when I was younger, and in truth it generally resulted in me just being more confused and more isolated. When I stopped, I found things that I enjoyed. I found things that incited my passions and stirred my emotions. Again, as Shoshana suggested, take the time to explore yourself, do some "soul searching" if you will.

As for the indigo souls and all of that... Honestly, I don't believe much in such things. It mostly seems like a modern explanation that dances around the truth and makes the individual feel better about one's self - we all want to be a unique snowflake, so why not take it the next step further and have some sort of unusual, mystical soul?

Meh. No thanks.

Learn yourself, be yourself, and don't try to fit into some New Age mumbo jumbo trying to explain your uniqueness for you.

It is hard to find one's self. With all the chaos pulling us one way or another, it is no wonder that we are having a hard time with our personalities. The best you can do is research, keep a journal of anything that feels like it helps you figure things out. Ignore nothing, take inspiration from everything. record what it is that sparks you, and where you got it from. look over it every so often, and look for patterns.

hope this helps.
