Shaken Up- A dream

I just had a really strange dream. What happened was I just became conscious to notice my body was shaking uncontrollably. I was still inside my room and I heard a low chopping sound of a helicopter. I tried to get back control of my body, but knew instantly that unless I was completely determined to stop the shaking I wouldn't be able to (Willing enough to die for it). I just didn't have enough determination and gave everything I had to not shake out of bed.

About one minute of trying to control myself I looked outside the window and saw a dim, really dim light pillar shaped light. I thought this might be the reason for my shaking. Soon the chopping sound went over my house, and flew off, but still the shaking persisted. Looking at my arm it was bubbling. Checking the window one last time, the dim light vanish and all that I had left was a chill going down my back.

When I woke up for real, I lied down for some time debating whether what happened was a dream or really just happened. O let me add that when I saw the light, I was compelled to go over to it, but fought against that. I managed to keep my body from moving over there. Nothing else.

May some bring insight to what just happened?

Thank you for your wise words UnderMoon. I would be lying to say that I wasn't afraid at all, but I wasn't going to let that fear stop me from enjoying my life. A lesson already learned.

Taking to what you believe my dream was than it seems that I'm closer to my goal of changing myself. Getting rid of my old habits and becoming the person I chose to be. Still, I wonder what that chopper sound was.
