casting the circle

I have heard so many difrent takes on casting circles previous to spell casting. I usualy try to do a sort of aural circle cleansing. I was hopeing to here some personal circle descriptions and techniques. not along the lines of penta though (not that i dont like it, but thw christians i live with....yaaa...lol) So any circle casting advice?
