The best firebending I have done was with a large candle (of sorts). What you do is cut an aluminum soda can in half, and fold the sharp edges down a bit to make a shallow cup. Roll up cardboard tightly into the cup so that the top of the roll is flush with the top of the cup. Next, melt wax in a pan and pour into cardboard roll. Large candle complete! Somehow the wax hinders the heat generated with direct (orange) flame impingement. Don't get your hands too close to the cardboard. Throw a small amount of flour into the flame. Have fun

I'm working on another firebending magic trick. It involves using the fireball shooter from the video "weekend project: make a fireball shooter" on youtube. I'm going to make it so it looks like I'm shooting fireballs from my hands by attatching the device to my wrist. Then I am working on a staff which will actually be a thin potato cannon concealed in wood. Not the compressed air type but the flammable gas type. It will shoot a tightly wrapped wad of fine steel wool at the press of a button. My sword will have steel wool glued to one side, and will be ignited by an electrical source from my clothes. I'm planning on having a (strong) battery concealed on me, with spaced ignition wires (probably running the length of my leg) with only the ends sticking throught the fabric of my clothes. Fire sword!

As for etheric projection, I don't do it much because it requires hours of free time, perfect darkness, silence, and comfort. I can do it in conjunction with scrying. I make a "psychomantium" using a mirror and strobe light. What happens is the hallucinations scare me, which gets me over that "hill" that most have trouble with. If thats too weird for you, then focus on the sensation of spinning or falling. The popular thing to do, it seems, is to try to roll upside down, then float upwards. I have trouble with stopping spinning. this doesn't require acid, haha. It's similar to acid in that it creates an extreme for your mind, but acid is a high extreme, and etheric projection is a low extreme. That's all I can say... I'm not an expert. The one who invented the homemade psychomantium/psychomanteum goes by the name of "Dr. Moody".

As for spell casting, I can't be of help, because I obviously don't literally believe in magic. The closest thing to magic I have witnessed is the evasive "St. Elmo's Fire" which is unrecognized by any scientific theory. I'm working on an experiment with an elmo fire generator. What I did was make a "microwave gun" wich is a vacuum tube called a "magnetron" with the radio waves directed in a certain direction. I have them directed upwards, with a flame suspended over it. This is able to create a small ball of whatever but it dissipates unless captured by a glass dome, where it seems to hover as long as the gun is on. I am not brave enough to put my hand through it because what I'm cautious about is the microwave gun. I don't get closer than 10 ft to it when it's on.

Why are you guys talking about magic tricks here? This isn't a magic performance art class site. This is for real magic, real energy work...Not using instruments that shoot/move fire to trick people. If you want to learn to use tricks for audiences.. go to Vegas. If you are serious about learning real magic/energy use lamblin.. you'll have to start with basics and work from there, it will be a long time before you can do what you are asking seeing as you haven't even done basics.

Now I don't know what it means to have good manners here since I obviously don't belong. I came across this website specificly searching for info on etheric projection. I apologize for being blatantly honest in my personal belief, but I felt that I had the authority to say so given that I stopped to make a constructive comment to help a fellow brother. And it seems like I still have the lead.

As for magic... magic is a type of faith. A magician believes that magic is the link in the chain between event A and event B. A scientist believes that gravity caused the rock to fall. It's not that I don't believe in magic, it's that I'm not in the correct time and place to make that judgement call. As for controlling the elements... I can start a fire at night in the rain to survive (hypothetically). I can distill my urine in the desert to make reusable drinking water using only a plastic container and a clear plastic sheet. I can't control the wind but I can predict where it will go. So I guess this isn't the right place for me.
