taoism?

I've never been a big fan of taoism or kung fou for that matter. Way to much strain on my lower back but I try to do something new once a day. (In a attempt to improve myself) I've tried a few excersizes from this site.:http://www.sacred-texts.com/tao/kfu/index.htm
I've tried the 2nd link on it and today I didn't feel any back pain. I'm I the only one who thinks this something neat?

Taoism is a way of life, a philosophy. Martial arts that follow the Tao are amazingly strong and are not just made for fighting but for self improvement.
I do the tai chi chuan.

I've never really tried kong-fu, but I have a Chinese friend who loves it. As for Taoism, it's a part of Jediism which is something I'm studying now. So far it looks cool.

A good book that deals with applying the teachings of the Tao Te Ching to today's world is "Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao," by Dr. Wayne Dyer.

Taoism is very deep, there are many spells. Taoism teaches about the universe, Yin and Yang.
Tai Chi Fist fighting method is based on the universe.
